The center-to-center separation of the two radiator mounting holes on my 1915 Model T chassis does not match my radiator properly - its too large. I read somewhere that you can remove the front spring, loop a chain around the chassis cross member, put a jack between the chain and the cross member, and kind of squeeze the cross member to the correct shape.
Has anyone actually done this? What are the chances I will mess up my chassis?
